With the days getting colder and dark earlier, one can tend to fall into a sense of gloominess. Well, fear not! Here are some self-care ideas for you to try out as we get closer to the winter season.
- Get cozy with a warm drink (tea, coffee, apple cider), comfy clothes, and a blanket! Watch one of your favorite movies/tv shows or work on some assignments.
- Light up some candles & play some of your favorite music.
- Put on a face mask & wear some fuzzy socks! Maybe make a lip/body scrub?
- Make your favorite comfort food or bake something.
- Sign Up for Oh SNAP’s Cooking Classes (we provide free ingredients for the dishes )

- Journal, color, draw, or paint.
- Go outside and get some sunlight while you can!
- Take a walk, exercise, stretch, enjoy nature!

- Talk to your advisors! Don’t forget to make plans for next semester.
- Look for company. While these are times to be social distancing, you can still talk and catch up with others through phone calls, FaceTime, or Zoom!
We hope you have a great rest of your semester!! Keep up the good work, but don’t forget to allow yourself some time to relax.
