OH SURE is a collection of services that helps HSU students sign up for INSURANCE, answer questions about Medical, FamilyPACT and other public insurance plans, and supports students in finding online, low or no-cost tele-health services in an area where we know community resources are limited.  Stop by the Oh Snap Pantry during our open hours and we can help you get signed up for Medi-Cal or Family PACT, and help out with Covered California questions

What is MediCal?

The California Medical Assistance Program (MediCal or MediCal) is California Medicaid welfare program serving low-income individuals, including: families, seniors, persons with disabilities, children in foster care, pregnant women, and childless adults with incomes below 138% of federal poverty level.

Family PACT is California’s innovative approach to provide comprehensive family planning services to eligible low income (under 200% federal poverty level) men and women.  Family PACT serves 1.8 million income eligible men and women of childbearing age through a network of 2,200 public and private providers.  Services include comprehensive education, assistance, and services relating to family planning.
