Introducing Oh Sure! OH SURE is a collection of services that helps Cal Poly Humboldt students sign up for INSURANCE, answer questions about Medi-Cal, FamilyPACT and other public insurance plans, and supports students in finding online, low or no-cost tele-health services in an area where we know community resources are limited.

When applying for CalFresh, you can also mark that you want to apply for Medi-Cal as well!

What is MediCal?

The California MediCal Assistance Program (MediCal or MediCal) is California Medicaid welfare program serving low-income individuals, including: families, seniors, persons with disabilities, children in foster care, pregnant women, and childless adults with incomes below 138% of federal poverty level.

Family PACT is California’s innovative approach to provide comprehensive family planning services to eligible low income (under 200% federal poverty level) men and women.  Family PACT serves 1.8 million income eligible men and women of childbearing age through a network of 2,200 public and private providers.  Services include comprehensive education, assistance, and services relating to family planning.
